Hosting through the Soccer Housing Bureau is a secure and straightforward process.
It is designed to help you earn income while supporting Fayette County’s role in hosting the 2026 World Cup. Whether you’re listing your entire home or just a guest space, we will support you every step of the way.
Step 1
Register Your Property
Start by filling out a short application with details about your home, availability, and amenities. Once we receive your submission, we will review it and follow up with next steps.
Step 2
Prepare Your Home
After your application is accepted, we will send a hosting checklist to help you prepare.
We can also connect you with trusted local professionals for:
- Cleaning and staging
- Landscaping and curb appeal
- Photography and listing support
Step 3
Get Matched with Qualified Guests
Your listing will be available to guests who are visiting for World Cup-related events.
This includes team families, staff, corporate sponsors, and professionals affiliated with the event.
Step 4
Earn Income & Get Paid
- A one-time $30 application fee is charged when you register
- Once your home is booked, a listing fee of 5% will be charged to both the homeowner and the renter
- Standard PayPal/Credit Card processing fees apply
- You receive the remaining balance directly and securely
- Rental of your primary or secondary residence is income tax-free for 14 days or less. We recommend you consult your CPA for full details.
